This training course is an intensive learning journey spanning approximately 4 months blended learning which means a mix of online tasks and 4 face to face training days (including assessed elements). It is essential that you have read the full course details and eligibility guidelines before applying for the course.

On enrolment you will be sent, by post, the course training manuals. These resources must be brought on all face to face training days. You will also receive an email with an enrolment key (password) to access the online training portal. Timelines for completion and guidance for necessary self-directed learning will be provided and your online work is supported by your LLT tutor. The pre-course tasks are essential/mandatory learning prior to attendance of the face to face days and comprise a minimum of 12-14 hours (spanning 4 weeks). The tasks include; watching narrated presentations, reading, learning checks and quizzes. Please check that you are able to meet the requirements of the blended learning approach with regard to access to suitable internet connections and software requirements. The minimum browser version that can be used is: Google Chrome (30+), Mozilla Firefox (25+) and Safari 6. Please note, we do not recommend that work is carried out on a tablet or smartphone. LLT tutors will monitor and support completion of these tasks.

All face to face course days will run from 8.55am to 5.30pm.

Please meet in the reception area where you will be directed to the training room. Please observe any one way systems or social distancing requirements.
There is no on-site parking available at the venue. Please visit Horsham District Council's car park page for information www.horsham.gov.uk/parking
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.

There will be no sharing of resources on the day so please remember to bring all resources that you have received from us, plus your own mat and of course, a mask. Your tutor will not have any spares to offer you on the day.

You will need to bring writing material and paper for any additional note taking and you are advised to wear warm, comfortable exercise clothing and trainers.

We have identified the possible Covid-19 transmission risks and have taken measures to reduce them. This essentially involves reducing contact points (with surfaces/resources), increasing proximity between people (2 meters distance), maintaining regular hand washing and sanitising throughout the day and the wearing of masks when not involved with exercise based tasks. We respectfully ask that you support us/everyone in doing all we can to keep each other safe, and get on with enjoying the course.

Your tutor/s will be wearing protective visors throughout the day. You are not required to wear a mask during the practical/exercise-based workshops.
